Went To The Dentist


Had to have a couple crowns done, already had the temporaries done so just had to get the permanent ones put on. Dentist’s assistant (whatever they’re called) said “98% of people don’t need numbing…” or something to that effect, referring to the removing of the temps and putting on the perms. Reluctantly, I agreed. Well, five minutes into it a friend snapped this photo:

Kids, take care of your teeth. Not just brushing, but not doing anything stupid either (like playing tackle football without a helmet). Eh.

    That is fake. No doctor would ever use anything as cumbersome as that for any form of surgery. The vibrations alone make it difficult to stabilize, lets go ahead and make it 40lbs. of steel and plastic too? Drilling tools these days are powered by air and are much much smaller, akin to that of a pneumonic stylus.

    On another note, it often feels like thats what they are doing in the dentist’s office, and a visual rendition of such an experience is pretty funny. (lol)
