I PRONOUNCE TRACEY’S ANSWER (18) AS BEING RIGHT!
The question wasn’t whether or not (/2+/8)^2 = 18, it was if (/2+/8) is a rational number. Which it isn’t.
Or maybe the question got cut off.

It’s just asking to disprove Tracey’s theory that squaring any irrational number gives a rational number, so you just find an irrational number that when gives another irrational number
Something like ((/3+/2)/2)^2 would prove this wrong

Yes it’s sexist, but it’s a joke. It doesn’t make anyone who finds it funny or even the person who told it sexist, and if you don’t like sexism you might think the joke immoral, but to some it is funny. Others it isn’t. Simple. Please try and stop whining though, it’s stupid, babyish and annoying.

wow, some small guys here, and some touchy girls, but really, the answer is ten. I am ashamed to say the “guy got it wrong” when he said she was right. I love math even if I am not that good at it. But yeah, it was funny cause the writer is an idiot. That’s why guys are better comedians, were just bigger idiots, so laugh big and enjoy it. At least if we lost our legs in a horrible accident we wouldn’t leave a trail of slime behind us when we went down the slide.
