I am a three digit number.
My tens digit is five more than my ones digit.
My hundreds digit is eight less than my tens digit.
What number am I?

Oh i get it now!!! The 4 is the ones digit!! The 9 is the tens digit!!! And the 1 is the hundreds digit!!! It goes the other way after the decimal!!!! duh!!!!

you start with 1,2,3 and it wont work start with 4 you’ll get the right answer

if u say 085 it wouldn’t work it would for starters be 083 and to make it count as 3 digits would have to be changed to a decimal .083
WTF THATS SO EASY! okay ima explain it, it says that the hundreds is 8 less than ten so that means that its either 8 or 9. if it was 8 it would be 0 and if 9 it would be 1. so the hundreds cant be 0 so its 1. that also means that the tens is 9 and it says the tens is 5 more than 1s so 9 – 5 =4

Let’s start with 999— As written- hundreds digit is 8 less than my tens digit. Means thousands digit is “1″ & tens digit is 5 more than ones digit. means ones digit is “4″……..
