All that you said was true. But in America Indians commited many injustices that go unpublicised. In Jamestown Virginia the Indians and the English were getting along fine. The Indians percieved a danger due to the growing colony, so they attacked Jamestown. They had an exchange program where Indian boys were allowed to grow up in the colony and learn about us. When the attack came those boys murdered the host families. The Indians tried to annihalate the colonists. They tried to kill every man woman and child. It was unprvoked and dastardly. At that point Whites realized that coexitance was impossible. In 1862 when the men were fighting the civil war, the Soux indians in South Dakota attacked white settlers and killed more than 500. Most of them women an children. Acts like this caused the United States to hit back hard and with a vengence. I am not saying we were innocent all the time. But the white atrocities are taught and the indian ones are not. Settlers were under constant attack and thousands were murdered and the women raped. The indians were no different than the whites except the whites were better fighters and won the wars. The truth needs to be taught. Indians were not peaceful people. They fought themselves before we got here and they fought us when we got here. Tactics were the same on both sides but we won. No side was any more evil than the other. It was just how the world worked back then. people fought over resources and to expand their influence. That is just how it was done. The powerful took over the week. That was the world. Just don’t think Indians were great noble people who always fought for good. They fought for the same reasons we did and the same way we did. If they had won then whites would be in your position claiming the same things.

I’m mexican (legal!) & my native american ancestors were killed, enslaved, deprived of land, & woman raped. But I dnt go 2 evry white person & demand an apology. Its not THERE fault! They r not resposible for their ancestors mistakes! Black people need to keep their past & culture but dnt hold a grudge against someone who has no fault & I can take a joke about mexicans. Its more racist to walk on eggshells around a person

I saw one post up there that was well written by Martina. However, 1/2 black and 1/2 white and mexican would actually make you 1/3black, 1/3white and 1/3mexican. Just saying. As far as this race thing if EVERYONE would quit living in the PAST and MOVE on all would be good. Every race has their “Sh*tHeads” and that’s not going to change. Every racist needs to put in combat situation where the guy next to him is a different race. They’d learn real quick that that when push comes to shove the only colors that matter are Red, White, and Blue. Forrest and Buba got along why can’t we.
