Its getting quite pathetic that someone, somewhere has to turn every publicised joke/statement into a racist/sexist/agist/whateverist debate.
People need to grow up and stop living the lie that everyone, everywhere, is and always has been a total racist or varying other prejudiced type.
Frankly, half the idiots posting about the “little black men with AKs” comment being supposedly racist, claiming its an insult to them, were probably white do-gooders anyways, who are a much, much more dangerous bunch.
This is, and has been for the last… oh … 5 years or so, getting old.

Mwafrica- Actually, what determines a persons colour is what colour they are. You would probably call an African Eqyptian (?) black, because in all likelyhood, they would be black.
And anyway, Somalians are black, thats not offensive, because it’s true.
And they’re pirates, on rations or something. Thin.
They need weapons.

So they are thin, they are black, and they are carrying AKs.
Why are we offended again?

When does a person become black or white or does all people from Africa black can you call a African from Eqypt black?So just like in somali are they black or white or arabic what determines ones color?

That second part was discrimination! I mean, they’re not just using AKs! They’re also using RPGs. So what, just because they’re mostly black and a lot of them have AKs means that the RPGs they’re using don’t deserve any love? This joke makes me sick.

Haha, people need to chill. My boyfriend is black and he wasn’t offended at all. And besides, they didn’t say all pirates that ever existed were white, they were talking about the particular Somali (sp?) on the news, who just so happened to be little black men with ak’s. It is what they were. It’s not racist. It was a fact. Stop being offended at everything. And the people posting about how much this site sucks, stop looking at it. It obviously interests you enough to say something.
