What is it with all you pathetic twits? Even worse are the people who complain about jokes that are “too long” when they’re actually “just right”. A good half of any joke is in the set-up; without the set-up this joke would fall flat, with it you get a chuckle. When you manage to progress past one-liners and knock-knock jokes, perhaps you’d understand that.

One morning, Mary-Jane burst through the door of her motor-home and said, “Dad! Mom! I have some great news for you! I am getting married to the greatest hunk in Texas. He lives in town and his name is Rick.”
After dinner, her father took Mary-Jane aside. “Honey, I have to talk with you. Your mother and I have been married a long time. She’s a wonderful wife but she’s never offered much excitement in the bedroom, I have fooled around with other women a lot. Rick is actually your half-brother, and I’m afraid you can’t marry him.” Mary-Jane was heartbroken, but after eight months she eventually started dating again.
A year later she came home and very proudly announced, “Mark asked me to marry him! We’re getting married in June.” Again her father insisted on another private conversation and broke the sad news. “Mark is your half-brother too, Hun. I’m terribly sorry about this.”
Mary-Jane was furious! She finally decided to go to her other and tell her. “Dad has done so much harm. I guess I’m never going to get married,” she complained. “Every time I fall in love, dad tells me the guy is my half-brother.” Her mother just shook her head. Don’t pay any attention to what he says dear. He’s not really your father.”
