Being gay isn’t a choice. It’s sort of like taking away wheel chair ramps because 95% of Americans can walk.
Additionally, abortion isn’t murder. It’s giving women the choice on whether or not they want to give birth to their unborn baby.
On your other issues, I believe that those are personal choices. However, I am offended that people can be against gay marriage. I’m bisexual, and I can confirm that it’s not a choice. The only reason people are against gay marriage is because they think it’s immoral or that marriage is for men and women only. Not true!

Marrage is a Sacred right between a man and a woman. It’s a church thing and it says in the bible that a man shall not lie with another man as he does a woman. I’m not against living together or having rights as (whatever) But marrage is a church thing damnit

Joe- the “church thing” policy may work for you, but Church and State should be seperate. The government shouldn’t impose religious laws on citizens in a FREE country who may or may not follow that same religion. America was founded as a free country, and it started with the view that religion shouldn’t be imposed on the public.

I think the first post was funny and true. im way too bored to read all the comments, but im about 95% sure they all have to do with the first post. Democrats are stupid as well as every other party out there. they should all be abolished, like our founding fathers would have wanted. party systems lead to nothing but this type of thing in goverment; endless bickering while problems keep stocking up. let the people decide what to do, not the people elected by the short-term memory people who will forget when the politician does a few good things during election time
My solution:
(1) let loose all the people in Gitmo in Congress when they’re in session. oh yeah, and arm them with AK-47’s and a $25 a kill bounty
(2) reduce the pay of all offices to $4000 a year, so only people who actually care and dont become career politicians run.
(3) remove all the “Patriot” Act bull so the American people actually have what we used to call “inalienable rights” and freedom
(4) pull out of Iraq so we dont loose any more of our great men, up security, and tell the world that if ANYONE else messes with us their people will be glowing the next day
(5) become the world power we used to by removing all our dependance on foreign oil using solar/hydroelectric/wind/anything; rebuilding our manufacturing output and make money from exports and decrease our imports; ect.
(6) actually focus on improving the lives of people in America (and no, i dont mean the illegals who should be deported) instead of some other third world country for a change
(7) hold all oil CEO’s out their 50th story office window by the throat till they give us back the bailout money then let them go under. thats how business works.
beyond that, work when we come there i say. but we seriously need to change how we are, with out parties, corruption, and everything else. and if it comes to it and we keep going downhill like we are, your children and their children will just keep being more and more oppressed untill we live in a socalist or communtist state. but if i have anything to say about it, that wont happen and more and more people agree. hopefully we all wake up before its too late.

Okay tyler i appreciate your opinion and respect your ideas but i want to focus on the last part of your first post about republicans voting to stay rich and keeping the lest fortunate below the poverty line… my family started out very very poor and through hard work and sacrifices we established our own business and are now a middle class family. After 15 years of hard work and sacrifice i might add. Miss1028 (and everyone else): I’d like you to consider the fact that there are thousands of religions in the world. Not all of them can be “right”. It’s certainly possible that none of them are.
Additionally, God, assuming he exists, did not, as you said, “create Adam and Eve”. Evolution is proven, and there is no proof whatsoever that God exists/existed. Besides, who knows? The bible you read is the King James version. It was screened through a tyranical king who could have changed any aspect of it.
Finally, yes, men cannot reproduce without a woman, but maybe it’s fate: SOMEONE needs to adopt a child, and it most likely won’t be a fertile woman.
