I thought it was very funny. The guy wants to impress the girlfriend, so he has a famous person say HI … now .. if he had just said HI back, he would have impressed her. BUT .. he figures she would be more impressed if he is rude to someone as famous as Barker. Got it? So, the GF figures, not only does this guy KNOW Barker, but by being rude to Barker, the guy gives the impression that Barker is impressed with the guy, and bugs him all the time. Well it says john because in the original joke it is john. The one who copied it changed names and then forgot about it lolz. The joke is like this.
john is having a very important meeting is some high class restaurant and his client is late. When he glances around the room he spots none other than bill gates dining there. so he goes upto mr gates and says “i am having a very important meeting today with a client who is very hard to impress. So if you just come over to my table and say a hello john how are you doing? It will be a great help.” mr gates agrees to this.
later when john is in talking to his client bill gates approaches him pats on his shoulder and says “hello john, its been a long time, how are you doing?” John looks up frowns and yells “oh piss off gates i am in no mood for you. Cant you see i am in a meeting?”
such intimate terms with the billionaire huh wont you feel he is something if you were the one having the meeting with john lolz.
