i dont think this is the best joke!
for all of you who don’t get it: this is what many adults say when you give money to a college student.
Well thats not really so much of a joke as a fact? im curious about that.
The punchline is the the phrase “And we weren’t?”, suggesting that they were probably going to use money for drugs or booze…

I’m a college kid… i get it… its funny
not the same story but im gonna tell it anyway. every weekend during the summer i throw on some rags and dirty myself up and sit by the rides and games on the boardwalk by my parents beachhouse, begging money off the tourists. most days i can pull about $50 easy LOL
It would be funnier, I think, if you didn’t have to think about the punchline. Not that is took too long to understand, idk ^^
