a person posted this question on YAHOO! Answers, under the Politics and Government subject tag; “Did you know it is illegal to molest a butterfly in Ca. ? I responded; Moths ? I recieved an E-Mail telling me my response had been removed for a Violation, and reminding me that i could be banned from further participation. Butterflies are truely protected in CA., as are moths.

Yes these laws are still in effect. They are actually taken very seriously. I have verified through many different channels.

These laws are actually true. Some came into affect in the early years of our country but, most of them are added in because people in the house/senate do not want a bill to be passed but because it will be they add something ridiculous to it to show they do not agree with the new law/bill at hand.
People gamble over dominos and no neighbors want to hear people sing. Actually i think most of these laws were made by severely selfish people.

did you know in New York it is illegal for someone to sleep on top of their refridgerator outside but not inside.
