Curious Thirteen


A bright young man was walking down a road in his neighborhood and, as he walked past a red building with a tall white fence around it, he heard a crowd of people chanting “Twelve, twelve, twelve” over and over again…

Curiosity getting the best of  him, he tried to look up over the fence to see what was going on but it was too tall. Alas, he spotted a hole in the wood.

He put his eye to the hole. He had just managed to see some old people sitting on lawnchairs chanting when a finger came out of nowhere and poked him in the eye! As he staggered back, the old people begain chanting, “Thirteen, thirteen, thirteen…”

    It’s funny,though scary.Hope nothing terrible is going to happen to the >/=13 people.The moral lesson here is:don’t let curiosity get the better of you-curiosity killed the cat.
