Barack Hussein Obama, Can’t We Joke About Him?
Why is it I feel that, if I talk abotu Brack Obama, I'm gonna get slammed with comments and hatemail for being a racist or something along those lines? You know how hard it is to make a joke about a black person? Very hard. I can trash white folks, blondes, Jews, rednecks, doctors and [...]
Barack Hussein Obama, Can’t We Joke About Him?

RJH,
Ummmmm, okay I guess……….. Funny you should mention that after the fact about your health or whatever. I fail to see the relevance in what you just posted to what I posted. You skirted around every question I asked, and the government run health care Obama is proposing is entirely different than cost control, which can be done without government interference, it’s called the laws of supply and demand and we as the consumer kinda control that. There absolutely should be a cap on what lawyers charge, but we weren’t talking about lawyers now were we, we were talking about health care. I’m all up for a good debate, but next time will you try to stick to the subject and be slightly more receptive. I’m used to Democrats taking everything out of context, not Republicans. Oh, by the way, it’s looking very promising for us, I was watching FOX News today, so say a prayer for our party. I really don’t think anyone who doesn’t have a chronic health condition, or isn’t close to someone who does could ever understand the fear that goes along with it. It’s frightening, you worry for your children, your spouse, your entire family, not to mention doing all you can to pay the high costs of medicine, medical treatment and all the supplements you have to take. There is no way an MRI should cost $15,000, even with the payments on the machine, manpower, and overhead you are looking at nothing close to that. Ummm, aren’t we supposed to be on the same side? I mean come on, this is what the democrats did “Obama can do no wrong,” and now they are a party divided. All I’m saying is let he who is without fault cast the first stone. You seem to think I am attacking my fellow Republicans when in actuality all I am saying is “get on the ball people.” I’m a Green Bay Packer fan, but when they’re slacking they are slacking, understand what I am saying?? Let’s not drop the ball here. We have a responsibility to our nation, so don’t complain when you allow the liberals to take over our country and we become Socialist, because they’re doing nothing to stop it but pitching a fit. These are your representatives too, and I for one think you would want better from them.
I’m not so sure we are on the same side. You included the pharmaceutical companies on your enemies list just like a common liberal. A large part of the cost of prescription drugs and doctor care is huge lawsuits and the fear of them as well as the massive paperwork involved in covering their butt. You blame the Republicans. For what? Did you notice they are far in the minority in both houses of Congress. I really don’t believe you’re a Republican at all. I read your gibberish and it points to a liberal posing as a conservative. It was a nice try but you can’t cover up your true loyalties even with a full page post every time.
Well, you don’t have to believe I am a Republican at all because quite frankly I think you are being unrealistic. I always consider the source my dear, considering your personal attacks yet not answering one of my questions (by the way those were not rhetorical). I’m not really seeing your point on how I am “rooting” for the other side so to speak, but, ummm okay, if RJH says so I suppose? Quite frankly I think you’re an Astra Zeneca employee posing as a Republican, but hey who’s judging, I’m a common liberal right? My writing is gibberish? LOL. Well my dear RJH, Heidi would have a good laugh at that one if you read our conversation before the health care debate. When someone says that they don’t approve of Obama’s bill, but they are disappointed that there have been no other options that makes them a Democrat? By the way, do you know anything about the pharmaceutical companies? My guess is you weren’t wined and dined by them working in an orthopedics office like I was. Guess what, you wanna know what else that money goes toward? Commercials for prescription drugs so people can go to their doctor and ask for a medicine they don’t need, several drug rep lunches nationally from Bravo’s and other noted eateries. Advertising? Are you serious, millions of what we are paying is going into advertising? I am lucky enough to have a doctor who would rather put me on what works than the latest thing they are pushing for $120 a pill. Seriously, it’s legal crack dealing. I think I write so much because I am trying to spell it out for you, did you even read any of my earlier posts? What is wrong with us (the American public that is) demanding a little more morality and honesty when it comes to our care?? These doctors ARE given kickbacks to whore out these drugs, if you don’t believe me spend a week working reception at a general practitioners’ office and tell me how often you have to buy your own lunch. Don’t you wonder why their pens say Forrest pharmaceuticals?? That costs money, so do the water bottles, the measuring tapes, the notepads, the drawstring cloth bags, the pill boxes, the samples and everything else they pass out with their name on it. Next time you go to the doctor, check his notepad and tell me which company gave it to him, because it sure as heck wasn’t Mead. Honestly, considering some of your comments, if you think ill of me, I kinda take it as a compliment because before anything else I consider myself reasonable. Oh, and by the way when you say I “blamed” the Republicans, hmmmm, all I said was I wanted more results from my own party. You can sit here and argue semantics with me all you want, but you know good and well we’re a society run on Abilify and Paxil, putting our children on these drugs because they have “ADHD” or bi-polar or whatever else they can put them on to keep them from being kids. If there are that many mentally ill people out there, the world must have been really screwed up in the 1950′s……oh wait it wasn’t, hmmmmmm. We had morals then, abortion was illegal, and people could support their family on one income working hard at a factory. Children had their mothers, and men had their wives at home giving proper care to children and they weren’t all on drugs and getting detention. Church on Sundays and a family outing. Oh yeah, and we weren’t getting bombarded by atheists to take down the Ten Commandments. Greed has got the best of this country. I mean, who was on welfare then? To quote Archie Bunker “those were the days.” Kids didn’t have cell phones and they lived just fine, but now, my freaking tax dollars have to support some woman with ten kids by seven different fathers who doesn’t want to work, sitting on her but getting her check in the mail. Yeah, status quo is great, isn’t it?
That was a tremendous improvement over some of your previous posts. only about 4/5 of it was gibberish this last time. I’m with you, I think all the pharmacetical executives should be crucified. Throw some of the employees to the lions too, just in case they might want to be executives some day. How about those bankers, I guess more of the same for them. The enemies list just gets longer while the real trash, the Marxists in Congress and our Marxist president have their way.
What exactly are you implying? That the status quo is fine, and while we let the Democrats take control of “trying to solve” the problem, we sit idly by and do nothing? That makes a lot of sense. I’m not quite sure where you’re going with this, but do the rest of us a favor, please NEVER represent the Republican Party, Ronald Reagan would roll over in his grave and John McCain would be disgusted if he heard your hateful banter. No darling, it’s people like you who let Socialism take over. You see, instead of coming up with a better alternative, you want to sit down and bash everyone, but don’t worry dear, Jerry Springer needs business too. John McCain had ideas for better health care reform, he must be a Marxist too. Also, could you also please never claim to be a Christian, Christ would never call anyone trash, you give smart, thinking people like McCain a bad name.
Oh, before I forget, kudos on keeping your argument up. I’m not exactly sure what we are arguing over, I mean, I don’t like Obama or his ideas, never did, but please do me a favor, should you meet a person who is ill, losing everything, and trying like heck to make it while Astra Zeneca loads on another bill, just keep whatever it is you like to say while you’re drunk to yourself. Thank you so much and God Bless.
Well it’s Sad to see Obama-Care push through, and for those who think the GOP didn’t come up with alternative I am sure they did just that the dems really don’t want to hear their ideas and if they do the could CARELESS, I say they being a logical individual they do need a cap on what the insurance can charge and even what hospitals can charge. and deny coverage but I think if a someone doesn’t want health Coverage they shouldn’t be forced to get it. You aren’t forced to get a drivers license. I know I may sound like a liberal but I am not, I just want what is right for our country and I think a Democratic controlled congress or Republican controlled isn’t on of them you need balance Daniel San
Savanah, you and John McCain can now go bask in your new health tax bill. McCain lost because he’s a limp wrist just like you. You talk about hate, I didn’t come up with the enemies list that you apparently are a party to. You bring up Ronald Reagen who would be filled with revulsion today if he were alive. If you are the Republican party I want no part of it. It is your opinion that we all just need to get along with Democrats. Name one Democrat that has ever shown an inclination to do the same with regards to Republicans. What a joke.
I am so happy that finally something has been done to stop these leaches we call health insurance companies from sucking our blood. Yay Obama for being one of the few presidents to keep his promise to the American people. Now we can finally move on to tackling other important issues in America.
P.S. RJH does being republican mean being closed minded and arrogant because that’s what you sound like. Anyone who takes anything you say seriously needs to step back for a second to realize there’s no sense in reasoning with someone like you. You’re so full of hate that you can’t even make a good argument. People like you give the republican party a bad name. I usually try to be respectful of everyone, but when someone is being a jerk, you treat them like one. So ha! The bill passed and you can suck it! Stop whining like a little girl and trying to attack girls on forums sissy boy.
Kurt, I totally agree
RJH, save it for your Dungeons and Dragons club.
Heidi,
We’ve disagreed in the past, but I sure wish I would give you a big hug right now. That RJH person is a jerk. Thanks for sticking up for me!! I’m apprehensive on the health care thing, do they need 200 days to finalize it? I wasn’t sure. Big Hugs!!!! Savanah
Oh and RJH, I can name a new one for you. Patrick Kennedy. Why don’t you google his change of heart where abortion is concerned. Don’t place people on the chopping block, pray for them, what kind of a person are you?
Savanah and Heidi, I just gagged a little at your posts. That’s an improvement. Who do you suppose is going to pay for your new entitlement program. Social Security and Medicare are on the verge of insolvency. The country is in a recession that new taxes are going further worsen. So much for the messiahs promise not to raise taxes on people making under $250,000. According to you, happy days are here again. Now you can just dance happily over the cliff together. Yes you’re right about one thing, Democrats and rino Republicans are totally repugnant to me. What group are you going after next. What a pair of jackasses.
The American question has always been personal freedom or the greater good of the society what does this vote say about the president and our congress?
The IRS has grown by 1500, the epa can now fine anyone for carbon emissions, (since I live in the country and have chickens and a couple of goats I am pretty sure they will be sending me a bill pretty soon) the coal burning plant that supplies my electricity will be fined and my bill will go up. If I am young and healthy and do not have insurance I can be fined or even jailed. If it is ok to kill babies (some are murdered after they are removed from the womb and could live), how long before it will be the Patriotic thing for grama and grampa to take that government issued death pill, and those that are born with defects, downs syndrome our other serious medical problems to be mercifully euthanized. It would be for the greater good of the society and that is what all patriotic Americans should want. ‘FROM EACH ACCORDING TO THEIR ABILITY TO EACH ACCORDING TO THEIR NEED”
as for me and mine “Give me liberty or give me death” If you think this is the ramblings of a lunitic try reading and making sence of the health care bill.
lol @ RJH you are an embarrassment to society! It’s funny to see how you get all worked up. I’ve never seen a man be so catty =] Anyways, you are a waste of my time so I will no longer address you.
Savannah,
Hugs to you also. I don’t know if it takes 200 days to finalize it, but Obama is scheduled to sign it tomorrow and afterwards the senate will be looking over some revisions made by the house, which they have to approve.
Caleb,
I love your way of thinking, but the people do not have the power even without this health care bill. The power rests in the insurance companies or the rich. This bill is finally going to stop the abuse thats been going on in this country. I know the bill is not perfect, but just like anything else you find solutions to the bugs later, but you won’t really know what to fix until you put it in effect.
Heidi, there was a alternative plan, what do you think of this:
Everyone recieves a tax credit that can only go to health care.
Health care can be purched accross state lines.
Tort reform to reduce defensive and expensive testing.
High risk pools to guarentee health coverage.
Portability
Eleminate preexisting condition limit
Two more poinst: The Insurance companies make 2% I make more on my checking account. Exactally how is that gouging?
The federal government refuses medical treatment more offten than insurance compnies. These are some Inconvenient truths I would appreciate you addressing.
I’m glad I’m helping Heidi and Savanah bond so their disapointment won’t be so accute when they find out how badly they’ve stepped in Obama manure. When you two hit rock bottom I’m sure there is some Marxist group for you to cry with.
Here is somthing I just got from Newt.org Worth reading
This will not stand.
No one should be confused about the outcome of Sunday’s vote.
This is not the end of the fight – it is the beginning of the fight.
The American people spoke decisively against a big government, high tax, Washington knows best, pro-trial lawyer, centralized and bureaucratic health system.
In every recent poll the vast majority of Americans opposed this monstrosity.
Speaker Pelosi knew the country was against the bill. That is why she kept her members trapped in Washington and forced a vote on Sunday.
She knew if she let the members go home their constituents would convince them to vote no.
The Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine combined the radicalism of Alinsky, the corruption of Springfield and the machine power politics of Chicago.
Sunday was a pressured, bought, intimidated vote worthy of Hugo Chavez but unworthy of the United States of America.
It is hard to imagine how much pressure they brought to bear on congressman Stupak to get him to accept a cynical, phony clearly illegal and unconstitutional executive order on abortion. The ruthlessness and inhumanity of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid machine was most clearly on display in their public humiliation of Stupak.
The real principles of the machine were articulated by Democratic Congressman Alcee Hastings who was impeached and removed from the bench as a federal judge, before being elected to the House when he said “There ain’t no rules here, we’re trying to accomplish something…All this talk about rules…When the deal goes down…we make ‘em up as we go along.”
It is hard for the American people to believe their leaders on the Left are this bad. They are.
The American people will not allow a corrupt machine to dictate their future.
Together we will pledge to repeal this bill and start over
Together we will prove that this will not stand.
2010 and 2012 will be among the most important elections in American history.
These elections will allow us to save America from a left-wing machine of unparalleled corruption, arrogance and cynicism.
Sunday was one more step in the fight against a “Washington knows best” and “Washington should run everything” attitude.
Let us turn now to the Senate to continue this fight for real reform, for real self government, and for policies that create jobs, improve health outcomes, and increase freedom.
To help continue this fight, please consider making a contribution of $15, $25 or whatever you can, right here.
Together, we will ensure that this does not stand.
Your friend,
Newt Gingrich
General Chairman
Caleb,
They make more than 2%. the insurance companies have been screwing people over for a long time. My proffessor pays $750 a month for his wife’s premium because she had surgery 5 years ago. Now she only has 5 yearly check ups a year, but still pays the same. The insurance company only covered 40% of the surgery costs after a long battle and a threat to sue and the rest came out of their pocket. How is that 2%? Reducing expensive testing is not an option for me. If I feel the need to have a test done I do not want a doctor telling me I can’t have it done. Besides, if the reason we pay such high costs on insurance is because the machinery is so expensive, then why would we pay for something we can’t use?

Heidi,
Are you just off line or do you have no answer to my previous post?
For all those who are against the bill because it will fund abortion check out the bill and you will see that there is specific wording to make sure that doesn’t happen. Without this wording the bill wouldn’t have passed. Check it out.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/2010/03/21/one-more-step-towards-health-insurance-reform
Caleb,
I agree this bill frightens me quite a bit. I mean, it like Heidi and I were discussing, there just has to be something. I don’t like the bill, I wish we had more options to choose from. I just don’t understand why medical coverage and care have to be so expensive. I mean, I’m sure there are better ways, and like I was telling Heidi, I can’t help but be a slight bit disappointed at the Republican leaders I have put my faith in. I’m not going Liberatarian by any means, I just feel like there was a better option for reform, and we didn’t even consider one.
Heidi,
You still rock!!!! I’m glad our bonding makes RJH sick, maybe he’ll have to spend some time in a doctors office and see what we have been talking about.
God Bless you both Caleb and Heidi, and even RJH!!!!
Savanah
Caleb,
I though I did answer your comment, but to be more specific I like the alternative plan except for tort reform. I know for a fact that insurance companies make a lot more than 2% and I’ve never heard of the government refusing medical treatment more so than the insurance companies. If you have examples I’d like to hear them. If you are speaking about other comments like the one from newt.org then all I have to say about that is that there are many corrupt people amongst both parties.
lol Savanah you rock also!
Savanha
The things that I listed were part of the Republicn proposel, the 2% can be checked out on greta wire.com. So why could the Obama administration not reach a bi-partican agreement? I believe it is because health care is not the issue, the issue is a take over by government and a lose of our individual freedoms. That is also why the fuzzy science of globle warming, nothing real on the job front and a massive increase in your and my taxes (ie corbon tax, a tax on health care, a tax on our retirement accounts…) etc. It never seaces to amaze me that other wise intelligent people can not see that there is a clear pattern here. The next step is the naturalization of 30 million new voters all dependent on the Obama admistraion and I predict that it will be forced through before November. Does that trouable you?
Heidi, Savanah,
My daughter works for a medical supply company as a claims processor and experiences these denials on a dialy basis. She and I agree that their are things that need to be fixed, we both believe that this bill has nothing to do with the problem it is a crises to be exploited.
Caleb,
Believe me, I hear you. It starts with one thing like health care and pretty soon we are run completely by the government. Health care is probably the most lucrative industry in the world, and I have no doubt the government wants their piece of that. It got leaked out they got it with the cash for clunkers as well (rebates for computer access) Now see, we never hear of the other proposal. I mean, you get on the news and it seems like there is only one choice when it comes to reform. When did we all become so divided? In a perfect world everyone would work together I guess, it just seems so alien that we have all of these charismatic leaders on both sides, and still, ya know. I like the Republican proposal, I would have to see the exact measures on tort reform to be able to agree with that part. I mean, there should be a limit, but if it doesn’t take care of someone’s medical expenses and continued care from something that is not their fault that’s not right. It’s one of those things that is different in every case. How would that affect BWC claims and such? There perhaps should be a measure for long term care for those who need it. I think a lot of times they end up spending more money not wanting to do the more expensive necessary procedure, than trying trying to treat the person long term with less expensive techniques that don’t work. I have a friend who has needed surgery for over a year, and just got her MRI approved three months ago, meanwhile they have spent so much in court costs and trying to skirt around it, they could have had her back fixed, and she could be on her feet on the job and off of the Percocet.
Caleb Douglas has a brain, I sure hope it rubs off on a couple of other people. I agree with him 100%.
Savanah,
I have a friend in the same situation, a back injury that was being faught by workmans comp. But even she sees the Obama package as a problem more than a solution. I heard on FOX news that they are going to start taxing medical savings accounts, I have not confirmed that one yet so I am not saying it is true but how could that help?
The way I understand the TORT reform it would not affect health care, only punative damages, we have that here and I think the limit is 2 million but I am not sure. That seems reasonable for suffuring if all health care is paid for.
As I said before, I fear that health care is only one part of a very intelligent and well planed move to have the constitution negated and replaced by a elite politeriate. For the good of the ignorant masses (that would be me and you).
RJH
Thanks for the good word, do not be so hard on others we desperatly need to communicate and consolidate.
Caleb,
Please don’t misunderstand me, I never thought the Obama package was a good thing, or even a slightly doable option. I was just simply disappointed that there seemed to be so much emphasis on dogging other people that we were losing focus, we all want one common thing, to make it better without becoming Communist Russia in the process. Somewhere in the mix Heidi and I became knows as Socialists, though she is a Democrat and I a Republican, we both liked the proposed Republican plan, just a little questioning on tort, but it seems to be a fair enough amount to cover someone’s medical bills and suffering, at least after seeing the numbers and taking into account worse case scenario I think so. Amen, we do need to work together, we do need to communicate. I think there is too much anonymity between parties as it is, and with a Democrat majority, we need a better mix of ideas from both parties. There are a lot of Democrats out there that don’t like this plan, and now that we are so divided there is no communication between parties, and it takes everyone involved to work together.
Caleb & Savanah,
Maybe this is a conspiracy, maybe not. The only thing I know for sure is that it took over a year to get this much done and the republicans want to throw out the bill and start from scratch? Thats not a good thing to say to the American people who have been waiting for and expecting some kind of health care reform for over a year. BTW I am not a democrat or a republican because I have my disagreements as well as agreements with both parties at times. Also, that 2% is something that insurance companies post to make them seem like they are not the bad guy, when indeed they are. I pay at least $2600.00 a year for health insurance if I don’t go to the doctor at all. 2% of that would be $52. I never use more than $500.00 worth of health care. Where’s my extra $2000.00? It’s in the pockets of scumbags who are ripping all of us middle class workers off. I’d rather pay that money knowing that it will help someone else have health insurance, than to pay the CEO of Humana for being a leach. Everyone is so worried about being socialists and taking from the rich to give to the poor, but what they fail to realize is just how much the rich has been taking from us. If the government is planning some sick plan to get rid of the constitution I will be willing to die protecting our freedom, but in my opinion it’s kind of silly to assume. Just like the people who accused Bush of having something to do with 911. You can believe it all you want, but if you don’t have sufficient proof to back up your words then your argument will just die out. I don’t believe in trusting our government blindly, but I do believe in weighing the good against the bad and I think this bill can do more good than bad.
Yeah Heidi, lets get those capitalist pigs. A solid majority of about 40% wanted Obama’s tax plan. I guess that is good solid liberal arithmetic. I pay $12,000 a year for health insurance and you whine.
Heidi,
Sorry, I didn’t mean to pigeonhole you girl, I think I just assumed you were democrat, never a good thing to assume. Anyways, although I don’t like the bill, I just am afraid that once we go there if it doesn’t work then we are kinda stuck, and since it’s not the same system of checks and balances our country was built on, I’m worried it’d be kind of like the whole square peg in the round hole thing. I understand what you mean about the 2%, I was doing some math in my head, and it doesn’t always pan out, I think basically it’s kind of like taxes, we end up paying for others. Although you might be losing money in having it, so it might not be in your best interest, some people get really sick and require thousands of dollars worth of tests a month, so that would make me think why it could pan out to be 2%. So technically, they are getting 98% profit on your money, but on some they are losing money, so then after overhead maybe they are making 2%. I don’t know for sure, just an idea.
RJH,
Quit being a jerk, we are having a civil discussion. Your comments aren’t helpful, they are harassing and mean. You are doing nothing to prove a point, you are just making yourself look bad. Unless you have substance to add, you’re wasting valuable time being evil and hateful. You don’t listen on what people have to say, you zero in on the one thing you think you can harp on and act like a jerk. My guess is (and I am 5 ft nothing) that you would back down in a second. You are too much of a coward to act this way in real life so you do it on the internet, so sad.
RJH,
You’re back! No wonder you’re so angry paying that much is insane! Luckily most of my insurance in covered by my job and I am blessed with good health. If not I’d probably pay that much as well.
Savanah,
Don’t worry about it girl I just wanted to make that clear. I am used to having people assume I am republican when I speak my mind about my conservative ideas as well. I guess it does make sense if you think about it that way the whole 2% thing, but then again so many people get their claims declined and afterwards get dropped making it hard for anyone to get their money’s worth.
Very true!! I really don’t like health insurance. Sometimes I feel like if the prices were reasonable we wouldn’t need it, ya know? Sometimes people save money paying out of pocket, especially if your medicine is on the 4 dollar programs we have around here (some generics are) The crazy thing I don’t understand is that if you have prescription drug coverage, that $4 turns into a $10 copay, so crazy. I’m all for capitalism, people need to earn a living just like us, but I know that there are medicines that would be better for me that I refuse because I can’t afford it. Why do they have to be so expensive. The drug companies were a lucrative business, but now we pay for all of this advertising. When I was little I don’t remember seeing commercials for Viagra and Abilify on the tube, and I think all of that airtime is what’s costing us so much money. There is a commercial for my daughter for the new Barbie doll, and then another for Lexapro, like we can just go out and buy it. I don’t get it, medicine shouldn’t be something we are like “oh, I need that” the doctors should be the ones prescribing what we need. Ah well, in a perfect world, right?
Generic viagra, or ibepokin, is much cheaper.
Where can I find this Barbie doll? I want to make her my bride.
You two disgusting creatures Dr. Bob and Chuckie.
By the way Chuckie there will be no sequel to ” Bride of Chuckie” if I have anything to say about it.
Heidi, Savana
Heidi we all want a better health care system, I firmly believe this one is bad. Did you ever consider that other people with your health care plan may have cancer, be on diolasis, need a kidney or heart transplant I would ask you to consider that at least some of your money goes to pay those expenses. My problem is two fold:
1. The government has a proven failure record in health care, they lose money and turn down care more offten than private providers.
2. Why did this admistration believe the only answer was to create 27 new burocracys and hire 1500 (I think it was a lot more) IRS agents to enforce its new policys. Just as a side bar why did the health care plan contain legislation that took over the private lending sector so that only the governmen can now give student loans? What exactly does that have to do with health care? Biger Government yes. Health care?
Heidi
I just wanted to let you know that I agree that the commercals are rediculious, stupid and immoral but not worth giving up my freedom for.
Caleb,
Hey hun, I was the one complaining about the commercials, LOL. Actually, my point being that they are the reason necessary prescription medications cost so much, and if people used their noggins we wouldn’t be in this situation to begin with. There has to be some control of greed. It’s like you were talking about on the torte laws, capping what they will pay out. All they needed to do was cut costs and we wouldn’t be facing the health care crisis we are. Obama’s plan is extreme and dangerous, this could have been done so much easier if we could control people’s greed. I mean, really it’s like everything, all of these government bailouts, what the heck? That come’s out of our pocket, I didn’t live beyond my means or overextend my finances, but we are paying because top executives did. Makes me wonder why I know this and they don’t, and why the heck I don’t have that job because it seems to me you don’t have to be a financial genius, and I bet I can balance a checkbook better than they can. I want a multimillion dollar a year job that doesn’t require me to know half of the math I know, or have half of the sense I have. By their standards, most of us are probably overqualified because we have opposible thumbs and know what y=mx+b means.
Savananha, sorry
I actually agree with most of what you say about the pharmacutical companies. We do need regulation, I just do not want the government to take ove like they did with health care, GM, Banking and student loans. We need some house cleaning just do not burn the house down.
Savanaha I did not mean you burning the house down I was refering to Nancy and the gange.
It’s cool Caleb. I hear you. Amen…my thoughts exactly, don’t burn down the house, too many better options to look at. I think for the most part we are all on the same page, there was a better way to do it. We just needed everyone to pull together. I’ll tell ya, we really have a house divided. I have friends who are Democrats, and I have friends who are Republicans like myself, and I have friends who could give a hoot. Now if all of those men in Washington could discuss and get along as well as hormonally imbalanced, overstressed twenty-something women with screaming kids who have different views but can still come to the same conclusion, we’d be better off. I say from now on, no more men or women of post-menopausal age like Pelosi. We need estrogen and we need it now!! Join me Heidi!! Young women to rule the world!!
I am joking of course Caleb, but after thinking over the longstanding idea of “what if women ruled the world?” I look at my marriage. I balance the checkbook, I fill out my husband student loan forms, I keep my husband on top of everything that only he can do, I do our budget for bills, food etc, I do our taxes, I am always organizing after he “cleans”, I keep in touch with his mother more, the list really goes on and on, heck I even organize his email!!! LOL. Most of my friends are the same way with their husbands, and we’re not controlling or mean, we just take up for them because they don’t do it. I’m actually laughing my butt off right now. I say the heck with parties, let’s just get the men the heck outta there (again, just part joking) You rock Caleb and Heidi!!!
Now that Obamacare has passed we can all love each other and be happy under Communism. Isn’t it grand it’s brought us all together. We’ll soon be a third world country but who cares as long as we have this blissful oblivion that is here to stay. Obama is just the greatest Communist ever.
RJH,
At first I wasn’t going to even grace that with a response, but are you completely unaware that everyone on this page wanted a better option? We didn’t want this. I can sit and complain and be miserable, or I can take action. Don’t just sit and complain and use sarcasm as a means of attempting to belittle people you don’t know. This bill isn’t in effect yet. Call your congressmen, write letters, have petitions going, peaceful protest. You can patrol your own combine on your riding mower, or you can fight for our country. Don’t disgrace the many men and women who have died for Democracy, do something. I can choose to be miserable, but quite honestly, life sucks, it does, for everyone. It’s what you make of it. Happiness isn’t avoiding the rain, it’s learning how to dance in the storm, so lighten up a bit. I don’t know if you are a religious or not, but start praying if you are. I am, give God some credit.
